Family heirlooms: Czechoslovakian porcelain coffee set

This beautiful set belonged to Ari's great-great-grandparents, Harry and Judy Loshak. It consists of a tray with a coffee pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, five tiny cups and six saucers.

They were made by Pirkenhammer Porcelain, a manufacturer in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad).

I discovered that the factory was established in 1802, and became known as the best in Bohemia, winning a gold medal at the Vienna World Fair in 1839.
