Roger Kitchen was Ari's 7x great-grandfather. We know that he was born in Bonsall, Derbyshire, on 11 February 1757. His parents were John Kitchen and Troth Shore. His baptism took place at the church in Bonsall one month later:

On 9 Jun 1782, Roger married a widow, Mary Woodiwis (Woodhouse) at the same church.
The marriage licence gives us the information that Roger was a farmer:

Roger and Mary had five children between 1783 and 1793. Roger was still alive in 1796, when a piece of land was put up for auction, advertised in the Derby Mercury on 2 June:

According to one of Ince's Pedigrees on the Wirksworth Parish Records website, Roger married twice and moved to Manchester. (Thomas Norris Ince was a solicitor in Wirksworth who compiled a book of about a thousand pedigrees.)
I have not yet found details of his death or burial.
