Susannah Whiteley from Ridlington, Rutland

Susannah Whiteley was Ari’s 6x great-grandmother, born in about 1759 in Ridlington, Rutland. The record of her marriage (to Francis Burton in 1779) says that they both came from the Forest of Lye Field, Ridlington, but I have found no record of her baptism.

Susannah and Francis had ten children between 1781 and 1792, all baptised in Ridlington.


Susannah died in Feb 1795, and was buried on the 27th at the churchyard of St Peter’s in Belton.
